Hooray for $1.50 Salvation army pants! I really wanted to roll them up and wear them with heels, but Louie ate all 3 pairs of my heels recently. At least I get to go shoe shopping right? Anyways, I have been bombarding my blog with clothing posts lately. I have just been having fun dressing up or down for whatever I doing lately. I managed to take a picture of Kyle, and he looks so funny.

Jennifer Aniston does a bang-up job of diffusing those Gerard Butler rumors

What’s the verdict on her dress, by the way? I didn’t hate it! It’s an interesting design, with the one-shoulder and slit. The fit was great, but Jennifer usually gets a good fit on her dresses. She never makes that mistake that so many actresses make of pouring themselves into something too tight. I really liked Jennifer’s strappy shoes. Monolos? Or Choos?




Okay, here we go - I don’t know how many times Gerard Butler has denied this rumor in the past, but it seems we’re in for another round of “Are they dating already?” As I mentioned in previous posts, Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston both seemed to arrive solo for the Golden Globes, and yet they sat together, presented together, and posed for these photos together in the press room.

It could totally be the case that they’re friends and colleagues and they don’t really give a crap and they’re promoting their film, Bounty Hunter, and whatever buzz is good buzz.

Last night was awesome! My Brother, his girlfriend Mariah and I made dinner for the 'rents. I think they liked it, it was a winter BBQ! We also bummed around Berkley for a bit, had some yummy beer at The Berkley Front, visited Time Travelers and I was tempted to buy some Archie comics...Then came home and took my quiz at 9:30pm (online) and got a 95%! (woot!) I also uploaded my picture from yesterdays blog to Chictopia last night and was surprised to find that it made it onto the the style gallery. I know, not a BIG deal but still :)

Coming Home

Yesterday Kyle and I saw an amazing show at the Filmore Detroit. City and Colour. They were awesome! They sung my favorite "Home" first, and even though it was a shorter show, we had a blast!

I wore this to the show and around all day. We also went on a shopping trip to Salvation army and Target. Kyle actually bought clothes, I was amazed. I bought him a vest and a shirt that he was eying-up but didn't buy. He said that he would let me take pictures of him in his new studly duds after we get them all washed :)

On a busier note, I have hit the workload full-on with school, work alone has been insane so I have been getting OT, and tomorrow is my parents 25th anniversary. My brothers and I are supposed to be planning a winter BBQ tonight, (I am actually supposed to head to the store with them in an hour, and I am in my sweats, and have a quiz to take for my online class and questions to answer that are due today). I have also been slacking on responding to people on Chictopia :( But I am hoping to get back to everyone tonight. 

I am hoping to get more of my poems up this week too. Please feel free to give me any feedback you can on any that I have posted (they are all under Writing) even if you do not like them, I really would like to work at them.

Entering through the door, bracing myself for the leap. 
The leap, the kiss and the bits on the floor. 
Alphabets. 
Alphabets?
A bowl full of biscuits, and yet alphabets?
A whole can. 
"Louie, when are you going to pay rent?"
Another kiss, and a sideways grin. 
"And look at this bill, it's $80 for your injections."
Scratch scratch, sniff, sniff. Wag.
"At least you've got your looks."
Deep rumble in the throat, "What is it?, What's there?"
Brush past into the yard and
Your off your leash. 


Nothing but a trail of white. 
The truck is gone, the boxes the same.

My first poem of the year! I wrote this Wednesday night, I think it is finished, I submitted it to my class Thursday night for the workshop, but I won't know anything until next week. I was really having a hard time coming up with something, so I wrote about Louie. Louie eating a can of soup, costing me a ton in bills, and scaring away the postman. However, now that I am reading it again, it sort of looks like Louie is just running away at the end. Hrmm... maybe I am not done. Anyways, I am looking for some critique. :)
