Rihanna: 'I Don't Want To Do Generic Music Like Katy Perry Or Lady Gaga'

 

  


Rihanna has apparently claimed that she is a superior artist in comparison to Lady Gaga or Katy Perry as she chooses not to record "generic pop" music like other artists.
Rihanna, who is meant to be good friends with Katy Perry, was talking about her distinctive sound for her new album 'Loud' on Radio 1 when she made the comments about the other female artists, according to Radar Online.
The 'Russian Roulette' singer said: "Every song was tailored to me. I wanted songs that were all Rihanna, songs that nobody else could do."
Despite throwing a bachelorette party for her pal Katy Perry last month, Rihanna then said: "I didn't want the generic pop record that Ke$ha or Lady GaGa or Katy Perry would do."
