In another news related to Rihanna, the Good Girl Gone Bad has been requested to open the 2010 American Music Awards that will be held at the NOKIA Theater in Los Angeles, California. This was confirmed by the president of Dick Clark productions, Orly Adelson. Interestingly, this is the fourth time for Rihanna to grace the said affair with the other artists like pal Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Justin Bieber, Ne-Yo, Bon Jovi and Usher. She also holds a nomination in the Soul/Rhythm & Blues category for Favorite Female Artist.
