Ain't, ain't, a bucket of paint

One of the things I want to do if I get a house with a garage, is to paint the door. I love those tacky garage doors, I mean, if it can be seen from the street, it would be so easy to tell people where you live. "Yeah we are the house with the bright-ass garage doors". Plus it would be so much fun to do, the hard part would be picking out the design for me, there is basically a blank canvas to do whatever you want with it. Also, painting it well would be hard for me. I would have to actually do a good job. Here are some cool ones that I found on the 'net.

We sure are cute for two ugly people

Okay so I may have slyly added "Inspiration" to Thursday's schedule when I was revamping the blog last night, but I think it will make for good variety. I am still tweaking this baby by the way, so sorry if everything looks a little strange. For today's inspiration, I chose to feature Kyle and I. Yeah, a little sappy I know but I am so proud of him, of all he has accomplished and this August will mark 9 years together...I just love him so much. This post may have also been influenced by our insane schedules, I live with Kyle, and yet we barely see each other. So hopefully I can share a few things with you lovelies today and not make it too sappy.

Basically the last few years of Kyle and me. I will have to bust out the older pics and scan them soon. Wow, it make me feel old to know that in high school we all had disposable cameras and now teenagers all have digital lol.

I was supposed to post a few things today, but I have something wonderful to share with everyone. The talent of my friend Hassaun aka "Chocolate bear" (we watch a lot of Scrubs). 

You may have noticed a little picture that I had added about a month ago to my blog: 

Hassaun digitally painted this picture of Moi et Louie for me for X-mas. :) I think it is unique and awesome! He has a blog up for his art but it is a work in progress and is not up and running just yet. However, when I saw these, I could not resist but post something about them, and share them with everyone. 

*Not sure if this next one is the correct picture, but you get the drift. 

 Hassaun's style varies, there are several different types of art he has created that I really enjoy, however, I did not ask him before I posted these and I feel that he would like to make the grand presentation of the rest of his art. However, I can't help but sneak in this last one because it is too sweet.

So happy

Today is my last day of freedom until spring break, and I have a case of the blahs. I decided to dedicate this post to the little things that make me happy. So here you are:

Weezer: Because no matter how I am feeling, Weezer makes me uplifted.

Louie: Because there is no other feeling that can replace the one that I get when he greets me when I come home.

Kyle: Because he is the love of my life. Also because he can do a pretty swell Jimmy Stewart impression.

Jamie: Because she is my best friend since the 8th grade, and understands me...most of the time.

Ella Fitzgeralds "blue moon": Because her voice here is simple, yet wonderful and I cannot get enough of this song.

I was hoping to get some of the pics up from NYE, but I did bit bring my camera because it is horrible. Jamie took most of the pics and is going to email them to me. She did take one with my camera before we left of me in my dress and I have it posted on Chictopia if anyone wants to see it.  I hope everyone is havinga wonderful day!
