So I think it's safe to say "don't ask" when looking at these ones, lol. This is Kyle's idea of an interesting pose. It really reminds me of autumn here instead of winter...which makes me crave cider.(yum!) Kyle took this right before he left to go to his twin brother's apartment to watch the Super Bowel game. I did not go, even though I really don't like football too much, I wanted to hang out with friends but instead I had to stay home and watch a movie for my women and gender studies class. I watched Kinsey starring Liam Neeson and it was really good actually, and I would recommend it to anyone really.  

This weekend was good and bad. I actually got so stressed out at work last Friday night that I neglected to stay and finish up work that I had planned on doing, and Friday nights are my study nights and I blew it off to hang out with my friends. I was just really, really down because I'm alone so much in the apartment (except for Louie). Kyle works different shifts then me, and we do not have school the same nights, plus we go to different schools. None of my close friends go to the same school with me, and it seems everyone has taken a break this semester so I don't have anyone to study with at the apartment like I did last year. Study nights really can be fun sometimes, we always had food and we would goof off after the homework was done. I can't even convince my little brother to come over (he's 16 and does not know why I would spend my Friday night studying). Then Saturday I slept in and basically bummed around town with the guys. I got my friend Anne's gift (finally) and went thirfting at the salvation army.

It is also safe to say that the job market in Michigan is not great right now, neither is the economy. One of the video rental stores that Kyle and I frequent is closing and with that two of our friends jobs will be lost. It makes me so sad to see them have to go out and hunt for jobs after they have been working there for so long. I think Kyle might try to help them get a job at his place, but it's still up-in-the-air.

Besides being down most of the weekend, I am staring at a lot on my plate this week, and I am really not that hungry right now. I will be busting my butt at work trying to catch up, regular homework with a five page close reading due next week, and a poem to memorize. "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..." I promise not to be such a downer tomorrow.
