For some reason, I feel like a giant cheese-ball in these photos. Where is my handsome photographer? The last week of school is upon us and the pressure is on. As it is, Kyle has barely slept this week, the apartment is in shambles, and I can't figure out which essay to tackle first, or where I am going to get the motivation to get through them all. I can't wait to put this semester behind me, I feel that I didn't do as good as I could have. I know it was hard working full time and having 12 credits but the house-hunting on top of it finally did it for me. The worst part is that I still have no idea if we can get a house or not, as my friend Jamie says we have been 'through the ringer'. I just wish we had some clear answers. C'est la vie.
On a more postivie note, I have decided to switch over to soy products. It is not really a huge deal because I don't consume that much dairy as it is, but I have to admit, Silk vanilla in my cereal is amazing! Most soy yogurt tastes the same, and I am on a hunt for some decent cheese but the switch is helping me because there is generally more protein in soy products, which helps me out with my hypoglycemia, I need that protein for energy. I am also hoping to break out the pilates DVD's this weekend to help me relax while working on all those essays and studying for my one final exam. I am hoping to get into a regular routine again once the new year hits, I miss doing my night yoga. My friend Erin is moving and gave me a ton of books to read too, so I need to start reading real books again, I miss reading so much. I might have to lock everyone out next semester and get some reading in.
This dress I decided to send around the Here to There girls, but I did not really care for the last way I wore it so I snuck in one more look. I bought this mustard sweater vest at Value Center back in August, which really makes me think of all of the items of clothing I really need to style up on this blog! This look was just really simple and I have to say that I love simple most days. What I am most excited about however, is the roots! Look, you can almost see actual brownish color. One more month and It's time for another trim, but it seems to be growing fast *wishful thinking* the stylist wants to put another color on the red parts, to blend it with my roots and it is non-permanent so I might go for it, as long as she keeps away from the roots. I am trying to stay optimistic about the length, I really want it looooong, which seems like a really long wait by the looks of these pictures.
Here are the other two ways that I have worn this dress:
