Momma's got a squeeze-box, Daddy never sleeps at night.

Happy Monday everyone! lot's to update for this post, but first of all I was featured in B's Carnival of Shopping a little while ago and you can see it here. (Better late than never right?) Second of all, are you sick of all the shorts yet? I mean, my legs glow-in-the -dark but I love shorts.
I also am liking that it is so warm and I can at least wear something without tights, and without flashing people, but again, these seem soooo much shorter without tights. Like how my bag had to sneak into every picture? lol.
Well to start off, my homework load was considerably shorter this week, just a little reading and a paper comparing two different songs to gender analysis. I picked Buckcherry's "Crazy Bitch" and The Donnas "Who invited you?" it went alright once I got going but man was it hard to write that paper on a Sunday afternoon when it was so nice outside!

Back-track to Thursday night and it was already the weekend for me! I did not have class, so I took Friday off and Kyle, the guys and I headed to Mug Night at 'Otools in Royal Oak for some beer and pool, we headed home to get some sleep for the next day, which was opening day at Comerica park! We awoke to a very cold morning but had a hot breakfast at a diner in Berkley before heading downtown. We parked and then bar-hopped a bit before the game started at 1pm. Sadly, I don't remember much of the game because I was constantly standing in a line! lol it was fun though, it was so cold and I basically plopped on top of Kyle and stole the Snuggie that he brought with him and we all cheered through the last three innings....and we won! Go Tigers!!
After the game we bummed around downtown some more before heading back to the apartment. (I did not bring my camera because Kyle thought we were doing too much and i might accidentally get bumped into or something. So instead here is a picture of Magglio Ordonez , he is my tiger!) After getting something to eat we went to Ferndale for some pool, the place we go to is called "the loving touch" and they have the best juke-box! I just kept picking songs and dancing around our area and people were looking at me like I was nuts because it was a pool-hall but I kept jumping up and down like a giant dork. Needless to say, we had a blast.
Saturday Kyle and I slept in pretty late and then decided to just take Louie out for a long walk since it was soooo nice out. Kyle took a million pictures, there are so many pretty flowers blooming all over the place right now, everything looks so pretty!

We found this in front of someone's house on our walk and being the huge Tiger's freak that Kyle is, we had to snap a pic. These next couple pics are of a tree in the park across from our apartment, it really is so cool that this park is so close to us, it is also on a dead-end so it is super quiet most of the time. It is probably why we have been here for 6 years.
The two most sweetest guys in my life.  Kyle and Louie :)
We also figured that it must be getting close to Louie's Birthday! He is a year old already, I cannot believe it, he was such a tiny little guy when I brought him home last May.
We ended the night with watching the movie (500) days of Summer again,it is so cute and funny! Does anyone else think that this guy looks like Heath Ledger a little bit? Or am I crazy?
An update on the weight-loss front, I have now started a 5mile route that I am walking with Louie. My aim is to make this walk at least three times a week, I would love to start running again as well, but running with Louie is extremely challenging. I also found a cool snack in Seventeen magazine to try out, peanut-butter apple sandwiches! Very easy to make and very filling, I had these and then shared some Chinese food with Kyle Sunday night for dinner and that concludes the weeks recap!
