My minds' racing from chasing pirates.

How do you break the boring "just stand there and look like a dork" pose? Pretend that you have a plaid cape! This is my outfit from Sunday and I have to say, although it is pretty basic, it was warm.  The rings are my engagement ring, and a ring my bestie Jamie got me a few years back. And now for last weeks recap: Monday Kyle and I went to the WAB for half-off food night and got some yummy sandwiches for dinner.  I basically had a light homework load again so I managed to get my final portfolio for my poetry workshop done. Thursday night in class I read four poems to my class as a formal reading, all new and much longer ones. It went over well, all of us did a good job. I somehow made a dent in my stack of paperwork on my desk at work, which is always good too. Friday I took my Mom to the bar after work for a beer and then we got some pizza's for the Fam. I was going to go out with friends but I was wiped out so I just took Louie home and chilled on the couch and watched "10 Things I hate about you" and "Juno". I can't remember the last time I just watched movies like that.
Saturday I slept in past my alarm and missed my dental cleaning, awesome. But Finally got up and walked Louie past some houses for sale with Kyle before heading to Ferndale for some food and a craft fair. We got some yummy Chinese from my favorite place and then went to one of my favorite pool hall's that were hosting a craft fair. I got the hat that I wearing in the pictures, Kyle calls it my "hippie hat". Then we met up with friends for more food a little later at National Coney Island.
Kyle and I then headed out to the Royal Oak Farmer's Market for a fund-raiser called the "Lettuce Rock." It was really pretty awesome. AND it turns out the farm in Royal Oak was sponsoring the event, the farm that a guy I went to high school with worked at. It was pretty cool catching up and learning how he became interested in farming.
We saw a few bands that were playing and then headed home for the night. I did a post for the Motor city Blog on the events and you can read more about it here. Sunday I thought I was supposed to do an exam but It will not be available until Wednesday so I basically cleaned a little, walked Louie, and blogged before heading to my parents for food.
Then we went to the pool hall again because it is free pool on Sundays! We met up with some more friends and took some pics and had a pretty good time. I even beat Kyle at a game, which never happens, but we are both mediocre so it's all good.
I hope everyone had a great weekend!
